Megan Measel and Chris Powell became the latest ABSC swimmers to qualify for the Georgia Zone Team. To earn a spot on the Zone team, a swimmer must either win an individual 100 meter event at the Georgia State Meet, or qualify for one of the four remaining spots based on a points system that measures overall performance.

At the Zone meet, Powell (16) placed 2nd in the 50 Meter Freestyle, and 4th in the 100 Meter Freestyle. He was also the anchor for the 400 Medley and 400 Freestyle Relays which finished 2nd, as well as for the 200 Freesyle Relay and 200 Medley Relay which finished 3rd and 4th respectively. Megan Measel (12) swam personal best times in the 200 Meter Freesyle, the 50 Meter Butterfly, and the 400 Meter Freesyle. She placed in the top 20 in the 100 Meter Butterfly as well as the 3K Open Water Championship.
