After a recruiting process that included such schools as NC State and the University of Ohio, ABSC's Stephanie Juncker has settled on the University of Louisville, and in August will report as a member of the Cardinals Women's Swim Team.

Juncker, who has twice been a member of the Georgia Zone Team, goes to Louisville ranked third on the depth chart in the 400 IM, and fourth in the 200 IM and 200 Breast. As a multi-sport competitor, lettering in tennis and basketball in addition to swimming, she will add a great deal of athleticism to the Louisville roster. Juncker's academic background suggests she will continue to enjoy success in the classroom, as she graduates from North Oconee with a 4.0 GPA and has once again been ranked as an Academic All American.

Though we'll miss Stephanie here at ABSC, we look forward to following her swimming career at Louisville next year, and at least she'll still be wearing red and black! Congratulations, Steph, and go Cardinals!
